Christine Droney, MSW, LCSW

I provide structured consulting for individuals and families navigating grief, relational strain, estrangement, and complex life decisions. This work is intentional, time-limited, and designed to support clarity, perspective, and thoughtful decision-making.

Consulting is educational and consultative in nature and does not establish a psychotherapy or counseling relationship.

Consulting services are available to clients in the United States and internationally.

What Consulting Is — and Is Not

Consulting focuses on understanding relational patterns, roles, and dynamics rather than diagnosis or treatment. The work is structured, reflective, and goal-oriented.

Consulting is not psychotherapy and is not intended to replace mental health care.

  • Identifying patterns contributing to conflict or distance

  • Considering practical next steps
  • Determining whether additional consulting would be useful

Strategic Consulting Package

Up to four (4) sessions

A short-term consulting package for individuals or families who benefit from a contained series of structured conversations.

Parameters:

  • Maximum of four sessions
  • Sessions scheduled within an agreed timeframe
  • Goals established at the outset
  • No open-ended or ongoing consulting

Package Fee: $900

Full payment required in advance.

Preparation

Consulting is most effective when participants:

  • Are willing to reflect on their role within the system
  • Can consider multiple perspectives
  • Are prepared for structured, respectful conversation
  • Understand the work is time-limited and goal-oriented

Fit & Next Steps

Consulting is not appropriate for every situation. In some cases, psychotherapy, group work, or no immediate intervention may be the better next step.

If you are unsure whether consulting is appropriate, you may submit a brief inquiry outlining your situation.
