A Life-Cycle Approach to Psychotherapy
Lancaster County Counseling Services, LLC is dedicated to providing whole-person care.
My work is grounded in a life-cycle framework, supporting individuals through meaningful transitions at the beginning of life, during mid-life changes, and later in life. I take a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach in our work together. You are the expert in your life. Many people come to therapy not because something is “wrong,” but because something meaningful has been lost, disrupted, or changed. This might include grief after a death, infertility or pregnancy loss, strained or estranged family relationships, caregiving stress, chronic illness, or a life transition that has reshaped your sense of self. I work with adults who are outwardly functioning but inwardly carrying complex grief, uncertainty, or emotional exhaustion. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care, with particular sensitivity to experiences that don’t always have clear language. My style is often described as warm, direct, consistent and real.
